Beaver Sublimation Paper

Beaver dye-sublimation papers have a new hybrid coating on one side. This high release paper holds the ink in a matrix above the surface so that very little ink penetrates the paper. This leaves most of the ink available to be transferred. This special coating minimizes the ink that is needed to achieve the targeted color output while eliminating the smearing that is typical of cellulose type coatings.

First print your image onto the Subl-Dark 301 heat transfer paper using your standard dye sublimation ink. You can either cut the outline of the printed design using a vinyl cutter/plotter or, if it is a simple shape, use scissors or a hand guillotine. If you used a vinyl cutter, weed the transfer (remove the waste layer) and you are ready to heat press.

You then transfer the image using a heat press and a FOREVER Finishing Sheet (see related link below) that improves washability as well as finishes the image with either a Matt or Glossy look

*These pressing instructions are a guideline only, and were made using our Schulzle Heat Presses, other manufacturers heat presses may vary so please test with your own press before going into production

Fiber Plus Sublimation Flock

Pressing Info


Follow these steps for printing by sublimation!
Scan, import or create a design using a vector drawing software program ie:Illustrator/Corel

Select the quantity of items to be printed. Print on a sublimation transfer paper with an ink jet sublimation printer.

The sublimation printed paper is then used to transfer the print onto the FibrePlus using a heat press.

Set at 200°C - 210°C, press for 45 seconds.

Insert the printed film into your cutter-plotter: its optical registration system will detect your your printed sheet of FibrePlus and cut each design out according to your selected outlines.

Heat application of FibrePlus to a garment

Release the printed logo from its backing paper.

Place on the garment in desired location, ensure the surface is even.

Heat apply with settings 160°C - 170°C for 15 - 17 secs.

The backing paper can be placed over the print during heat application to soften the press and protect the print from direct contact with your heat press.

Please Note: While we try our best to provide accurate information, please be aware that textiles vary in their material compositions and all heat presses differ slightly in their pressure and temperature settings. Always perform a couple of sample tests before you commence your proper pressing run.
